Abstract Heron Sculpture in Bronze

Ardeidae

I was commissioned to do a piece for a friend’s wife. The brief was for a sculpture with feminine lines and preferably a bird. I decided to do a heron, and as I worked on the sculpture it evolved into a gracious piece with soft lines, but keeping it powerful and stately.

Title: Abstract Heron
